Come and Enjoy Our Nature ...
Only about thirty thousand people live in the vast expanse of the Yukon, and only about four thousand of them live outside of Whitehorse. The Yukon is unique with its intact nature and its great opportunities for exploring, viewing of birds and other animals. The memories of Northern Lights and the clear northern skies are a sight you will cherish for many years to come. Some say the greatest northern lights can be seen along the Silver Trail...
The History of the North is a Fascinating Chapter ...
... in the history of our country. Over a hundred years of mining for gold and silver along the Silver Trail have left a legacy of stories, legends and artifacts. Enjoy Great Hiking Opportunities
The Yukon is richly endowed with pristine nature, often inaccessible for a lack of trails. Not so along the Silver Trail. The early prospectors and miners left a system of trails that allow for wonderful hikes. Check in at the Silver Trail Inn, and enjoy a beautiful hiking trip. What can be better after a hike then to come back to a comfortable bed, great food, and a hot bath? Here is a little tip: Come at the end of August, the fall colours are magnificent and the mosquitoes are (mostly) gone.
The Fishing Adventure of a Lifetime
Make the Silver Trail Inn your base for the greatest fishing one can imagine! We have 20 great fishing lakes in the vicinity. Some are accessible by road or trail, some are strictly fly-in. Some people are doing exactly that!
